Breakfast and AfterSchool Club
Welcome to Old Buckenham Bears!
The club is run as an extension to Old Buckenham Primary School providing before and after school care for parents/carers of children attending the school. We maintain a close working relationship with the school in order to ensure continuity of care.We provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment for the children in our care. We endeavour to provide an atmosphere and activities similar to those found in the home.
Breakfast Club Sessions
7.45-8.30am: £5
This session includes a snack for your child.
After School Club Sessions
Session from 3.10-5.30pm: £9
Optional meal during this session: £3
Extended session from 5.30-6pm: £3 (Meal is included in this cost)
If you would like to book a place for your child at any of the above sessions please contact Bears either by telephone on 01953 860380 or email office@obps.set.education. A link to an online form will be shared with you to complete.
We invoice parents for the sessions booked. To secure a session at Bears you should book a month in advance.
We do understand that childcare may be needed unexpectedly. We can still provide care if we have available space at the club. You will receive an invoice and payment must be made by the end of the month. If this care is required, please contact via email: office@obps.set.education.
Old Buckenham Bears is registered to provide childcare for up to 16 children aged 4 to 11 years. We are registered with Ofsted as part of Old Buckenham Primary School and Nursery.
Ofsted Registration No: 120839.
To register your child/children you will need to complete a set of forms and these can be obtained by contacting Old Buckenham Bears directly or from the school office.
We accept childcare vouchers as payment. Paying for childcare, using special vouchers saves many parents significant sums of money each year in tax. If you are not taking advantage, check them out as a matter of urgency. They are a special government scheme operated through employers that allow you to pay for childcare from PRE-tax salary. It might not sound big, but the impact can be huge.

Lunchtime and After School Clubs
We have a range of clubs on offer each term. Some are led by outside coaching groups such as Premier Education and ICS Coaching and parents need to sign up via the links which are emailed out. Other clubs are run by school staff.
